As a newcomer to Canada, buying my first car was a big step — and honestly, a stressful one. Before visiting Jim Pattison Hyundai (Guildford), I had a disappointing experience at another dealership. Without my permission, they checked my credit score and tried to pressure me into a high-interest loan at 16%. They kept calling and telling me that with my credit score, it would be almost impossible to get a car — unless I went through them. I felt anxious and unsure, especially being new here and unfamiliar with the process.

My older Kia started misfiring in two cylinders. The treatment I received from Ryan, the assistant service manager, was very straightforward and professional. They diagnosed the issue quickly, replaced the spark plugs and coils, and even completed the oil change I requested, all on the same day. It's been weeks now and the car has been running perfectly with no recurring issues. Really happy with the experience!

The entire staff at this location makes you feel like family. Edward sold for us a car, when we want just to take a look at Hyundai production, because never had have a chance before to use it. Somehow he knew what we were looking for, what kind of car. Very fast he not only determined the type of car, but also made an offer for us to purchase pre-owned car, because we was not comfortable with the amount of money we would pay monthly for a new one.

Dropped our 2013 Santa Fe XL off for a warranty issue and the service was exceptional. Crystal was able to answer all my questions and was very empathetic with our concerns and time constraints. She also notified me about a minor recall I was not aware of. Tommy was kind enough to drive us to a skytrain station and then picked us up later in the day after the work was promptly completed. As an added bonus they even washed the vehicle. Bonus! I’ve just completed my 2nd (second) car purchase from Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey (North Surrey Auto Mall).
Choosing the right car wasn’t an easy thing to do this time, since the car/ colour I wanted is no longer manufactured but everybody helped, Cam the Salesperson, Sam the Financing Manger and Amir the Sales Manager. It took a little time but in the end I got the car and the colour that I was looking for.
Everybody has been very friendly and exceeded expectations, they not only went one extra mile but two to fulfill my wishes and make me a happy customer.
