Garry was very helpful and friendly and convinced me that this is the best among other options I have in mind. I had my test drive on my car and they made it possible to give me the car on same day closing all formalities. Ronita was very helpful and amicable in getting Ford Car financing for me.. and along with necessary protection plans I chose. Alisha was very helpful and has taken care of my car insurance. I am from out of town and was looking at a used vehicle online, so I relied on their photos and their candid descriptions which turned out to be very accurate and fair. I purchased a used Kia Sorento from Mainland Ford on a four-year financing term and have already completed two years of payments. At the time of purchase, I even bought an extended warranty for peace of mind, trusting that this would protect me in case of major issues.
Unfortunately, after only two years, the Sorento developed a serious motor noise. I brought it to a Kia dealership, and they recommended replacing the entire engine. The estimated cost was over $22,000 for the engine plus $5,000 in labor—which is basically the price of a new vehicle.
What’s worse is that the extended warranty I paid for does not cover this repair. I never expected to face such a massive and costly issue so soon, especially since all oil changes and maintenance were done on time.
This experience has been extremely disappointing. I trusted Mainland Ford as a reputable dealer, but I’ve been left with a car I can’t use, a warranty that doesn’t help, and a huge financial burden. I would caution others to think carefully before purchasing here

Bought a brand new F150 in May 2025, within a month we had issues with it. A month and a half later the EV system has a fault that bricks the truck and leaves me stranded. Waited 5 hours for a tow because the tow operators could not get the truck into neutral.
Then find out the dealership does not have after hours drop off and I would have to wait the next business day for it to be sent to them
Once the truck arrives to the dealership, the manager (I think I spoke with Lucy) told me I would have to pay for a rental vehicle because I did not have coverage, ON A BRAND NEW TRUCK THAT BRICKED.
Another manager, Derrick, rectified that by giving me a truck for 3 days I assume as a goodwill.
Later on find out the paint has a warranty defect, it took them over a month and a half to sort out if Ford Canada or Mainland Ford would be responsible, I get the call to pick up the truck and it is an absolute disaster with specks all over it, I've attached two pictures as evidence. I showed the managers and the sales person who sold me the truck, I even recorded it and brought it right to them and all they could do was shrug and just spray water on the truck and think that was enough. I told them if they wanted to clean it properly they need to use the appropriate products which they said they didn't have. I had to pay to get it detailed from a reputable shop because these people can't take care of their customers vehicles.
I voiced my concerns to the managers there and they told me they would contact me to make me right but after waiting for weeks to hear back from them I've given up. As of this review I've only owned the truck for about 3 months and it's been nothing but problems and has sat in the dealership for 2 weeks already getting fixed, who knows how much more troubles I'll have to go through while under warranty.

My husband and I bought a vehicle here in 2024. The experience with Sam, the finance manager, was a tone setter. He was unable to explain to me what I was purchasing without getting it incorrect (referring to the safety package).
That is the best case scenario. The other scenario is he knew how horrible the package was and was intentionally misleading, because the reality of what you are purchasing is absurd.
MUST READ PART - If you are being told you must purchase the safety package, read the fine print before you sign. Essentially you are purchasing a maximum of $2000 worth of insurance (for lost keys, flat tires, that sort of stuff), and paying $699.
Likely the worst insurance ratio of all time. You do not need to purchase this - it's simply a way for mainland ford to take your money.
After numerous recalls on our vehicle (one that involved going into the dealership for a repair only to be told they don't have the parts for said recall repair), I was told Michael, the GM would be in touch to discuss my experience. Well, as expected, Michael did not reach out.
Again, two scenarios exist here - one, Michael has decided we are not important and avoiding us would be easiest.
Two - Michael lacks organizational skills as a GM and has forgot about us.
We lost money on our vehicle as it is a plug hybrid - one of the recalls said that if we continued to plug it in it might catch fire (nice). I inquired with the dealership as to how they would help me out as I paid about $8000 extra on the PHEV version in order to save on fuel, which was now moot. They accepted zero responsibility and directed me to Ford of Canada (way to go above and beyond, Mainland - really nice work, cheers). I contacted Ford of Canada and explained my situation. They accepted zero responsibility and told me tough luck.
So thanks, Ford. Between Mainland Ford and Ford of Canada, you have both missed an opportunity to provide any semblance of customer service. I will never purchase a vehicle from this place again.

First id like to say the sales team was a solid 4 out of five can't complain they had a ford bronco sport I wanted and worked out everything for me. However it wasn't clean when I bought it because it was a used vehicle. So it had scuffs and dirt and markings on the interior what a nice cleaning could get about 95% of it out. I was told I could take home the vehicle today and bring it back for a full deep interior clean sometime the following week, so I did . It took 2 hours for them to "clean" the interior, all they did was spray the floor covers with water and that was it the vehicle inside looked exactly the same, I didn't notice how little they did until I got home and took a look at the whole cleaning. The photos I provided are AFTER the interior cleaning, mind you most of this easily would have gone away with a wet cloth and a vacuum. The tire shine they put on isn't even fully around the side of the tire and it's all over the rims too. I reluctantly am giving a 1 out of 5. id rather have just not come for a cleaning then drive there for 30 mins for them to basically not do anything and then wait around for 2 hours and then drive home another 30 mins.
I had a great experience with the body shop at Mainland Ford. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. They provided me with a brand new Mustang Mach-E as a loaner vehicle, which was a pleasant surprise and definitely made the repair process more convenient.
The turnaround time was impressive — they got my vehicle back to me quicker than expected without compromising on quality. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to top-notch customer service.

During a recent cross-country trip to Vancouver, our car's power steering developed a slow leak. We were told by the service rep of one garage we needed to replace the power steering pump and other related parts. I went to Mainland Ford for a second opinion. Denny Varelis, the asst. service manager, was incredibly helpful. Within a short time he came back to me saying the car was good to go! The problem was a loose hose connection. He charged me a pittance compared to what I thought I would have to pay. Then a week later he made a followup phone call to make sure the car was OK and I was still satisfied. Wow! What great service! I cannot thank Denny and his team enough!
