Poor experience with trying to make an appointment for car maintenance!!!! I called at this dealership for an appointment for car maintenance (pressed #9 to be served in English) but was served in French. English is my first language, but I conversed in French and usually I'm not so bad but in this case, I felt that I was insulted and the person helping me was insincere. This experience has made my decision to go elsewhere and will try to break my lease. I could not understand what the person was offering me, and I felt coerced to take the offer to spend money that I had no idea what it was for! It was clear that my understanding was limited so why did they not connect me to an English person or even slowly explain to me what I was going to be spending on, instead of pushing me if I will take the package! That's intimidation, cornering you to a wall, domineering! Until the dealership hires bilingual persons who speak with a normal speed (person spoke so fast) to better serve customers, I highly suggest not to go there. I don't mind spending the money but if I don't know what it is used for, of course, like any normal person, will not spend it.

When in to see if I could make an appt to hv my mom's car looked at, bad rattling sound from underneath. They offered to take a quick peek, found the problem and fixed it because it was a simply bolt fix. I can't thank them enough. All the staff was courtesies, professional, and understanding. Purchased a new 2024 Rav4 there.
Great service and attention to the client received by Maxime and Dominic !
Sold my old car there as an exchange for the new one. All went smooth as expected and described. No surprises.
Will have to add that I did shop around and that dealership (Maxime) offered me best conditions for my exchange car sale and the new one, from all I checked in the region.

I had a bad experience with Canadian Tire one day for new winter tires after getting a damaging flat. I wanted to save money, but all I got was some very unprofessional service.

Being upset, I decided to call St-Basile Toyota hoping they would help. Well, I should of called them first. They took my appointment the next day and got me 4 new winter tires at a reasonable price.

I appreciated the professional and polite service.

I live in NB 1000 kms away from this dealership. I found a very good low mileage 2016 Toyota Venza on cargurus.ca online that interested me so made an inquiry online. Within a short time I received a call from sales guy Pascal Simoneau. After numerous email questions back & forth with Pascal it was easy - I sent them 10 pictures of my older Venza and within a few hours they offered me a trade price for my car. So my wife and I drove to PQ from Moncton, NB the next day to test drive the Venza, buy it and drove home the next day. Simoneau provide excellent service and honestly answered all my questions prior to my decision to buy.There were no surprises and I was very satisfied with all levels of this transaction. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Pascal at Toyota. From the beginning, he was very patient and courteous with us. We ended up buying a vehicle without seeing the car and shipping it to Alberta. Pascal was pretty much holding our hand the entire time. Sometimes, we would be calling him 3-4 times a day with some questions and he was always happy to answer even on his day off.

On the night that the transport picked up the vehicle, he sent me several pictures showing the condition of the vehicle prior of it being shipped. He also ended up meeting the transport team at 9 pm on a Saturday night (Toyota was closed) and oversaw the entire process. That was very greatly appreciated. In the future, when we are looking for a new car, I am definitely going to check Toyota St.Basile and see their inventory even though I live in Alberta just because the prices and customer service are so amazing!

For anyone looking for a vehicle -go here and ask for Pascal!!!

J'ai fait récemment l'acquisition d'un véhicule d'occasion (RAV4) et malheureusement mon expérience d'achat m'a laissé un goût amer en bouche ce qui fait en sorte que j'hésite fortement à recommander ce concessionnaire.

Je vous épargnerai tous les détails et je ne m'en tiendrai qu'aux points qui m'ont le plus irrité et qui ont ébranlé ma confiance.

Premièrement, on m'a dit que le véhicule venait avec un système TAG (système de repérage en cas de vol) que le propriétaire précédent avait fait installer. Ceci a influencé ma décision d'acheter le véhicule. Toutefois, suite à ma rencontre avec le directeur des finances, on m'apprend (une fois que j'ai fait un dépôt sur le véhicule) qu'il n'y a pas le système TAG. 1ère déception. Au lieu de reconnaître leur erreur et d'essayer de me dédommager le concessionnaire me dit qu'on peut me l'installer gratuitement SI j'achète la garantie prolongée de 3 ans ET la garantie de remplacement de 7 ans pour un total de plus de 3000$. J'ai du insister sur le fait que si le système était annoncé, j'étais en droit de l'avoir sans frais supplémentaire. Ils ont fini par accepter et me l'installer gratuitement. J'en ai conclu à une erreur de bonne foi de leur part même si j'ai trouvé vraiment plate d'avoir à insister pour avoir le système.

Lors de la prise de possession du véhicule, l'explication que l'on m'a donné sur le fonctionnement de la traction intégrale était très différente de celle que l'on m'a donné à ma première visite. Comment expliquer que dans un même concessionnaire, on me donne deux explications différentes sur le même véhicule. Il y a ici un manque de professionnalisme assez flagrant.

Ce n'est pas fini, au moment de la signature des différents documents, je me rends compte que les mensualités affichées sont supérieures (de quelques dollars mais quand même) à celles que l'on m'avait vendues au départ. Explications : Le prix des mensualités que l'on m'a fait au départ ont été fait à partir d'intérêts à taux variable et lors de la signature on m'a fait une mensualité sur un taux fixe.
1. Pourquoi est-ce qu'on ne m'a pas averti de cela au moment je discutais des prix avec le conseiller?
2. Je n'en suis pas à ma première expérience d'achat de voiture chez un concessionnaire et jamais, je dis bien JAMAIS, on ne m'a fait le coup du taux fixe/taux variable. Les mensualités que l'on me vendaient au départ on toujours été celles que je payais réellement en bout de ligne. Pourquoi chez St-Basile Toyota est-ce différent?

J'aurais dû à ce moment faire annuler la transaction car le lien de confiance était rompu. Mais tout pleins de facteurs dont l'heure tardive en semaine, la hâte de quitter et le fait d'être si près de d'avoir un véhicule que je convoitais depuis longtemps on fini par gagner sur ma raison. Si c'était à refaire, ma décision serait tout autre.

Finalement, comme si ce n'était assez, je suis retourné chez le concessionnaire le lendemain car j'avais oublié la veille de demander une copie du RDPRM du véhicule afin de m'assurer qu'il était libre de dettes. On me répond qu'ils n'en donnent pas et que je dois leur faire confiance. Wow! Ailleurs on me le donnait sans problème.

Habituellement la prise de possession d'un nouveau véhicule est un moment assez excitant pour moi mais cette fois-ci l'expérience fut gâché, disons que je me suis senti floué.

Au moins j'ai un bon véhicule entre les mains. Toyota est un gage de qualité et de fiabilité mais si vous voulez mon avis, je vous encourage à magasiner votre Toyota ailleurs, il ne manque pas de concessionnaires dans la région pour bien vous servir.

Pitoyable! Pas de vendeurs qui viennent à vous (Faut le faire dans un concessionnaire!). On ne m'a jamais rappeler pour un essaie de voiture d'occasion qui n'était pas prête. J'ai trouvé ma Toyota ailleurs et j'ai voulu leur acheter l'outil pour les changements d'huile... 1 semaine de délais, on m'avait dit le lendemain mais on ne m'a jamais rappellé... pour me faire dire 3 fois le prix par rapport à la prise de commande.. Ils m'ont dit que je devaient l'acheter parce qu'ils l'avaient fait venir pour moi! Ben voyons... Bebye!
