2023: Overtorqued wheels, forgot to service the car when we arrived for pick up.
2024: Paul was very helpful with my mom so I've updated my review with 2 more stars for now.
2024: Eric was also very helpful when my car got towed and he got everything fixed and returned to me within a day. +1 star to my review
2024: Paul said they gave a complimentary car wash + floor mat vacuum but that didn't happen. He also claimed my car had no spare tire so they didn't check the pressure or fill it. I told him I had a spare tire but he insisted I didn't.
On July 5, 2024, my new car underwent its first service. The Service Advisor reviewed the vehicle service inspection report with me, stating that the spare tire had been inspected and was in good condition. However, I informed him that my car does not have a spare tire in the trunk. Looking embarrassed, he promptly crossed out the spare tire inspection section.
Subsequently, I discovered that the vehicle service inspection report was incomplete, with key fields such as the license plate number, RO#, Service Advisor name, and mileage left blank. Additionally, the report was inaccurately dated June 21, 2024, instead of July 5, 2024. Despite paying $92 for the service, I received a fraudulent and incomplete inspection report.

Horrible service here. Both visits were extremely unpleasant (and we bought our last 3 Corollas here as well).
The last service visit was the last straw.
New cat had 9k on odometer; changed my wiper blades without asking me. Then charged me for them even though we had full extended coverage (asked Granville Toyota on 41st, thet agreed that should've been under warranty)
I ended up paying anyway because I didn't have time to keep arguing (we'd been arguing for 20+ minutes when I gave up)
Service at 41st & Granville has been consistently good for the last 3 decades, as their veteran staff know customer service. But the Fraser location is run by entitled children

At least the mechanics are good, as well as the young man in the financing dept.
Our last car purchase there, a 2022 Corolla, was also really disappointing. Our regular sales guy had retired and the guy they randomly assigned was completely unattentive (as the sale was already a foregone conclusion, he made us wait 45 minutes while he was busy selling to another family)
This is how they treat a family who's purchased a 2010, 2018 and a 2022 Corolla, imagine how they'll treat you.
I recently visited the Toyota service center in Granville to have the rear brakes on my car replaced. When I dropped off the car, I was quoted $300 for the job, which seemed reasonable. However, when I picked up my car, the final bill was an outrageous $644 *before* tax. There was no clear explanation for the drastic price increase, and I was told I had no choice but to pay it.
To make matters worse, a free car wash was included as part of the service, but when I got my car back, it was clear no wash had been done. This added to the overall frustration of the experience.
As a loyal customer, I expect transparency and follow-through on services, but this experience left me feeling taken advantage of. I won’t be returning to this service center and would advise others to double-check quotes and ensure they receive all services promised.
I have been already going to their service center on 41st ave for 5+ years. They always give great service and go beyond my expectations.
I went to purchase a vehicle here and even signed a contract but I found the same vehicle in a different trim/colour that I wanted elsewhere. They even let me cancel the deposit. I honestly felt bad but how often do you get a vehicle that is hard to obtain in the colour/trim that you want.
Honestly, Boli was a joy to work with and he was very transparent. No issues, haggling or pushing extra purchases on me. I can't say the same about the other dealership I ended getting my vehicle from...
For my next vehicle, I definitely want to give them my business!

Their service manager acted arrogantly and did not treat me like a valued customer. When I showed my displeasure at his attitude and would not come back to that dealership, he told me that there are line ups of people waiting to buy Toyotas and HE didn’t need my business. I like my Toyota but will never again use that dealership for service or purchasing a car

I used to go to Fraser St Granville Toyota. Because my car was initially new, I did not notice the problem with Granville Toyota servicing but after one and half years, I notice that after services there is no difference in driving experience plus Staff at Granville Toyota won't understand if you describe any problem and get annoyed very soon, worst is their manager, he will pretend that he noted your concern but do nothing.
Hights is when you give bad reviews in their system. They just pretend they are working; they try to tell you that you are misunderstanding your own car. Same attitude as ground staff and management.
I strongly recommend Destination Toyota for servicing. I immediately felt my car is like a new one even it is two years old now.

Dia Bahnam and his financing manager tried to upsell me on every package possible and when I refused they didn't want to sell me the car. I also was trading in my car and got a refund for the new car I had a deposit on and bought it elsewhere.
Would not recommend going here the “family” owned dealership is very greasy.
Terms of our contract were not met however Doug Shorman the general manager refused to refund my deposit in full and only retuned 50% ($500 of my $1000 Deposit) Do not pay this company a deposit unless you are ok with it being refunded as a dealership credit. Here is the emailed response I received after attempting to cancel my order (before a VIN was sent to me)
"Let me close by saying that we are not in the business of going out of our way to keep customer deposits. Our business is selling and servicing vehicles. That being said, because we are held accountable by our customers to honour our agreements and stand behind our actions we hold our customers to that same standard and expectation. I have been the General Manager at Granville Toyota for over 17 years and although we haven’t had much conflict over my tenure I am certainly not unfamiliar with the processes of the Better Business Bureau or the threat of Google Review retaliation or small claims court. If you choose to go those routes so be it. If you want a prospective solution I will give you two: You can have the $1,000 deposit transitioned to Dealer Currency which can be used in our Parts or Service department for Servicing or Accessories. If your preference is cash then we will give you 50% of your deposit back for a total of $500. You can advise Robb Begg of your choice or if you choose another alternative I’m sure I will become aware of it at some point in time in the future. Sincerely,

It's always a good idea to get your Toyota serviced at Toyota by people who know the vehicles well. Almost all of my extended family owns Corollas. We've never had any issues whatsoever after getting ours serviced here.

These SCAMMER,SCAMS me for Two & half Years. DIA BAHNAM & Manager BERNIE. They took my SIENNA XSE AWD Pre Order & Deposit in 2022 until now 2024 I have not received my car because they Sold my car to someone else for extra cash. Friend of mine who Ordered after me, he got one Sienna in 2023 and week after car crash he got second Sienna months later for extra cash from these SCAMMERS.when I question about this ? SCAMMER,JERK, DIA BAHNAM he forwarded blame to his manager. I trust DIA for 2.5 years but he lies to me always. For the first time I call Sales Manager Bernie, last week. He took my name and number and ask me to give him 15 minutes and wait for his call so he can check the status of my car. BUT He did not call me, or apologized for delays or thank me to wait for 2.5 years or make any promises to handover my car very soon. Instead that JERK, Text me and asking Me to wait another 2 years, in Total 5 years for my SIENNA or Offering me my Refund.if I need to wait 5 years for my car or get my refund after 2.5 years then you SCAMMERS, why sell my car to someone else? For extra cash And what you did with my deposit cash for 2.5 years?
Disappointed. Had some dealership credit provided as part of a new vehicle sale. An expiry was never disclosed to me when this was offered. Moved to the Island for work for a few years, and now that I'm back, have just learned that the dealership wiped my credit due to inactivity. Great way to make a customer feel valued.

Dishonest and unprofessional. In today's market it is hard to find decent business. Buyer beware. The free oil and filter they advertise is not FREE. When you pickup your brand new car at Granville Toyota check everything before you leave and make sure it works properly. The staff at the dealer don't know how to install OEM accessories that they offer. In my case, the hitch package. The ball would not fit the receiver platform so I had to wait for the proper part, Thank you Granville Toyota for wasting my time. If I could get a car without a 6 months wait I would walk away from the deal. Good luck.
My experience with Granville Toyota has been so pleased and hassle-free. The entire process, from the time I called until the time I received my new car keys, was easy and friendly. They are very professional and care about their customers. I appreciate the excellent work done by Eric C and the Service team.
It seems they just give cars to who is profitable. I ordered Rav4 and deposit money for two years and it is not delivered yet.
They asked me to alter my contract to have more feature or waranty or trade a car to give me the car that I am waiting for 2 years.
Now they are telling me to come and take your money and buy car from other dealership.
Is this justice to keep money for 2 years and waste your time and answer like this....

Wish I could give a 0 star. My experience could not have been worse. I ordered a rav4 hybrid in mid 2022 and almost 20 months later, I am still waiting. I called multiple times to understand where I am in the queue, sale & manager are not transparent, they would not tell me where I am at in the queue, not sure why this has to be secret. I was initially told up to 1 year wait when I ordered, but 20 months later I am still waiting. I was told having a trade-in or not does not make any difference, but that is also a lie. I got a call recently and was told I could get the car right away if I chose to trade in my car there, since I said I did not, then they sold the car to someone else. I know many many people ordered the same car in 2023 already received the car, their dealers have no trouble telling them their positions in the queue.
My advise to you: Do not believe what they tell you. I am going to tell my story to all of my friends, so they won't have to go through what I had
Hi everyone, whoever wants to buy a new car just don’t go to Granville Toyota. Me and my friend had a very bad experience with the manager. I went to dealership to buy a new electric car. He rejected me to give a car in a indirect way by asking that where i am from. I told i came from surrey and he said to go back and look car in my own city. It was the most racist thing i have experienced. I went there on someone’s reference and later on he told than he also experienced such racism. The action should be taken on manager.

The day I bought the car, I felt like he was discriminating. He was very rude. He falsely accused me of buying a car to resell to an Uber driver for profit. very bad experience and suggest to all, especially Indians community to not visit on this mentioned dealership
I had a disappointing experience with Toyota's service’s and parts. The staff was not friendly, and their tone while talking to me was far from pleasant. I found them to be lacking in understanding and not very informative. It left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. The product advisor was rude while discussing potential trade and hung up on me. It was a sales manager who later cleared the air, and told me what the used car manager offered for my trade-in. I ended up taking my business to a different Toyota dealership, got $13,000 more for my trade-in and a new Venza at MSRP.

Took my used car to make sure I’d get a trusted thorough (paid) vehicle inspection, only to find out a week later they overlooked things like struts and shocks that need to be replaced, suspension arm issues, and transmission oil, to mention a few examples. Very disappointing

Had a very good experience with their sales team. Eddie, the nice Filipino salesman, was very helpful and reasonable through the process. I felt helped and respected but not pushed. Eddie and Kevin from finance even helped me with dashcam installation. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable Toyota ride.

I bought a brand new car from Granville Toyota and the best dealer they have his name is Dario. He is a very nice guy who is very honest and helpful. I am very happy I made the deal with him. In Granville Toyota they have many dealers. They are all good but Dario is perfect and awesome. Just make sure you talk to Dario to buy your car and you will never have to worry about anything. For service department.. make sure you TAKE CARE of our car and give us a GOOD SERVICE. You treated mine like a JUNK.. Just finished my 2nd service and you left my car MESSY!!!!! Oil all over the engine bay, front grills and bumper.. And even WORST oil marks on door handle, shifter and steering wheel cover. For the MANAGEMENT please DO something..

Called in to get a price on parts and was spoke down to but not what I would consider rudely.
Called in to get a price on price on service and was treated like a second class citizen. The service person(man) on the phone was rude, arrogant and left me feeling like dirt and then just hung up on me.

I have an elderly mother that purchased a brand new 2008 Rav 4. A week ago, the fuse went out on the cigarette lighter/power. This past Saturday i went to Granville Toyota, and i had the worst customer service ever. They could not point out to me where the fuse box is. Spoke to Doug Lee Service Advisor & Steve Cabral Parts. They wanted me to book an appointment and pay the $100 per hour fee. Am i crazy or stupid?? I was so pissed off at Toyota as a company. Neither one of them could point out to me where the fuse box is in the car. It was not even busy, i was the only one there. I bet if i wanted to buy another car from Toyota, the sales people would have been all over me with customer service. Today i called Granville Toyota and spoke to the GM- Doug Shoreman and i told him about my horrific experience with his location. He apologized, and said sorry. That's it? I asked him if he wants my name and phone number and he said NO. He should have at least offered a free oil change/car detail for my mom's car. Again horrible service. Toyota should set their standards high. I would never recommend anyone to go to this location, if you have to go Jim Pattison Toyota Downtown.
