I went to World Cars two and a half weeks ago to purchase a Kona. I knew why I wanted even spoke with the finance guy. I had to wait to speak with the Manager because he was out of town about a trade in with my old car. I waited just over a week and no call from the Manager or the Sales Rep I was speaking with. I contacted the again and the Sales Rep said he would speak with the manager immediately. No one EVER contacted me back!!!!! World Cars left a customer just hanging.
So I contacted the dealership in Sudbury and bought my Kona. The dealership in Sudbury treated me like gold and were amazing to work with, itās too bad I canāt say the same for the Sault. I gave one star because at least the Sales guy came out to say hi, otherwise zero stars
I booked an appointment for a safety certification on my Tesla. Before booking, I specifically called and confirmed if they could do safety inspections for Teslas, and they assured me that they could. Based on that, I dropped off my car.
After keeping my car for 2 hours, they called me back and said they couldnāt complete the certification because they were not able to put the car into service mode. Despite failing to do the job, they still charged me $170.
If they knew they couldnāt perform safety inspections on Teslas, then why accept the booking and waste my time? This feels unfair and like unnecessary charging. Very disappointed with the service and lack of transparency.
I had a rather unfortunate experience recently. My car is a 2013 Elantra, it had an extended warranty for 10 years due to engine issues in cold weather states recall. A few years ago I brought my car in under warranty with the engine making a clunking sound. They were unable to solve the issue or rather claimed there was no issue at all. Fast forward to now I brought my car in for the exact same noise and I need a 5000 dollar repair to my shortblock (engine). But now I am not under warranty. I am very upset with the situation and feel as though the company had lied originally in order to not replace my engine for free. I would love for this situation to be resolved.
I have bought my vehicles at World Cars for 24 years and would go no where else. They have always treated me like family. Thank you Brad Boyer for your expert advice and most easy and comfortable experience anybody could ever hope for in a very important purchase.
Always a bad experience here. 3 hours of waiting for tire change and service with an appointment is unacceptable.

Unreliable and Frustrating Service
My friend bought a car with an "Ultimate Package" that included windshield coverage-but when the time came, the dealership completely dropped the ball. They denied responsibility, gave him a list of shops, and left him to deal with it. The repair shop said they'd contact the dealership, but weeks passed with no response. The dealership kept blaming their insurance and offered no real help. It's been over 6 weeks, and nothing's been resolved. Poor communication, zero accountability-don't waste your time here.
Writing on behalf of my friend who bought a car with the āUltimate Packageā that was supposed to cover windshield repairs. When the windshield got damaged, the dealership refused to help, gave a list of repair shops, and passed the responsibility around. The repair shop claimed they'd handle it, but weeks later, nothing had been done. The dealership blamed the insurance company and kept saying theyāre āwaiting on approval.ā Itās been over 1.5 months and still no solution. Extremely unprofessional and careless. Do not trust this dealership.

I bought my car last March with an āultimate packageā that was supposed to cover windshield repairsābut what a nightmare it turned out to be! When my windshield got hit, the service guy bluntly said, "we donāt do that." After much hassle, he reluctantly took photos and handed me a list of repair shops to get a quote, even though my package covers it. I went to one repair shop from their list, and they assured me they'd handle the communication with the dealership. Two weeks later, I called them because I hadnāt heard anything, and they admitted they hadnāt received a word from the dealership. When I called the dealership, they insisted they were waiting on approval from their insurance company.I had to explain everything againāeven though they are all affiliated (dealership, repair shop, and the insurance company). Still, I was told they are āwaiting on approval.ā Itās been over a month and a half, and Iām still driving with a broken windshield.
Completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and careless staff. Save yourself the troubleādo NOT buy a car from this dealership.

I've called the service department twice and I'm not sure if it's because I bought my vehicle at Bourgeois Hyundai, but it felt like no one wanted to take the time to listen to me. I asked them about an issue I was having with my tires from a service appointment that I had done elswhere, and the guy kept telling me not to worry. I finally took it elsewhere and was told when my tires were switched over my valves were damaged so I had been driving around with leaking tires. I'm glad I didn't listen to what the service department guy had told me. I called a few weeks ago to ask about the price of an oil change for my car and was quoted anywhere from $109-$130. No where else in town couldn't give me a clear price in advance. As someone who loves my Hyundai, I'm disappointed that this is the only dealer in town. Go south if you want better service.
Hands down best experience ever!! Our car broke down while we were in town, and we couldnāt imagine having the work done anywhere else. Shawna was very polite and professional, and helped get the parts ordered and delivered in record time, so that Eddie could get it up and running as quickly as possible. Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend World Cars! I wish we lived closer so that we could buy our next vehicle there.
