I’m writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at this dealership regarding my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid.

A couple of months ago, I visited to address 5–6 recall issues. Recently, I experienced a check engine light, and upon investigation, it appeared to be an EVAP system leak. I specifically asked the service team if a small leak in my canister would be covered under the recall warranty. They booked me an appointment, stating they would inform me whether it was covered.

My wife went in on the day of the appointment, clearly expecting a simple confirmation. Instead, without proper communication or transparency, they proceeded with an inspection — never informing her that there would be a charge. They later told us exactly what we had already reported: that there was a small leak — and then charged us $82.50. To add to the frustration, they presented the service as though it was done as a courtesy, which felt extremely patronizing and misleading. Tell us to sign us a yellow slip without letting a customer know what they are signing for.

This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this kind of behavior at this dealership. The staff has been consistently difficult to deal with — loud, rude, and dismissive, lacking the professionalism and respect that every customer deserves. My wife and I were made to feel as though we were asking for free services, despite being transparent and respectful throughout.

As someone who has worked in hospitality for over seven years, I can confidently say this experience falls far below basic customer service standards. I am requesting a full refund of the $82.50 inspection fee and a direct follow-up from the service manager regarding this situation. Customers deserve clear communication, respect, and accountability — none of which were shown during this visit.

After receiving poor customer service at another dealership I decided to call Olympic Hyundai and see what they had to offer. I was put through to Tarik and ended up making an appointment to see what he could do for my trade in. He was adamant he could get me a better value for my car and he certainly did. He did everything he could with his sales manager to get me the best price for my car and also get me into the SUV I wanted at a fair price that no other dealership offered. He was very thorough on explaining everything. And he made sure to show me in great detail all that the SUV has to offer and even set everything up for me. I appreciate everything he did for me.
Colin in the business office was also a pleasure to deal with and i appreciate him explaining all my options and he also explained everything thoroughly to ensure i understood. I highly recommend this dealership

My husband and I had a great experience with the staff at Olympic Hyundai. They were all friendly, supportive and truly had the buyers(us) interest at heart. There was no pushy sales associates, we were welcomed everytime (Yes, we went back multiple times to make sure the vehicle we chose was right) with a friendly smile, a hand shake and usually some jokes (we love a good laugh). Sunny was our sales guy, what a friendly, kind and compassionate person, we were so glad to have dealt with you Sunny. Colin made us laugh and enjoy our experience while signing our deal. Chase the manager was incredible and made sure we were satisfied with our purchase even after we left the lot. Those are just the names I remember, the whole crew was there cheering me on as I made a trick shot to win myself a great incentive (I am not a basketball champ, but they sure tried to make me feel like was).

We visited every single name brand lot in the city and this sales team was by far the greatest and most enjoyable experience. Thank you Olympic Hyundai Niagara Falls for a memorable experience. We will be spreading the word on just how great you all are and how much I love my new ride!

I had a terrible experience at this dealership. I purchased a 2025 Kona. (love the car) The car comes with standard 19" tires. When I went to put my winter tires on the car which came from the dealership they were 16" tires. First of all they looked like donut tires and were way too small for my wheel well. More importantly when I started driving on the highway my car started automatically slamming the brakes on. This was extremely dangerous at 100km/h. The vehicle behind me had to pull onto the shoulder to avoid hitting me. I called the dealership without letting them know who I was to ask what size winter tires they would recommend for my make of car. Spoke with the parts manager Justin who told me that normally they go down 1 size to 18" for winter. I also called a few other dealerships and they all said the same thing...Go down 1 size for winter.
I took my car back into the dealership all the while the parts department manager Justin argued that the tire size 16" was fine and there had to be another reason why the brakes were automatically engaging. Guess what?? They drove the car did a whole bunch of tests and determined that the tires were in fact too small. They replaced them with 17" which is still not what was recommended to me by the parts department manager himself Justin...who took zero responsibility for the mistake and blamed Hyundai Canada themselves not the dealership. Since then it has just been a back and fourth blame game between the dealership and Hyundai Canada with no communication from anyone. I have been the one reaching out to Hyundai Canada themselves to get updates and they said they left it in the hands of the dealership to get back to me. I'm still waiting!!
I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.
